Kicking off the new year with some soap

Happy New Year everyone!! I couldn't wait to get up early today to make some soap.
I think I may have a slight obsession with soap molds. I have to stop buying these things.

Used this one today. How cute are these little houses?

I love how shea butter looks - I want to eat it.

The fragrance is Bamboo & White Grapefruit. This is the first time I've used my new silicon loaf mold. I usually use a wooden mold, so I'm really excited to see how it comes out.

Colors came out perfect. Come back soon to see it out of the mold.

Wishing you all peace and love in 2013!

  1. What a lovely blog you have! I've just discovered it today. I'm still able to buy molds, since I still have room on my shelf...I don't know what I'll do after that! Your batch in your new mold looks yummy and so, so creamy.

  2. Wow, can't wait to see the Bamboo & White Grapefruit cut! The fragrance sounds very nice, too. I know what you mean about soap molds - I have to stop myself from buying every silicone baking pan or ice cube tray that I see. Happy New Year!

    1. I know! It's really a sickness - I'm sure people are like "lady - it's a ice cube tray - chill out".
