I scored this cute silicon mold of little cupcakes today at JoAnn fabrics for 70% off.

I also picked up this Wilton silicon mini muffin mold for 25% off. I got both for $15. A successful shopping trip.

My first goat's milk soap

I've been dying to make goat's milk soap and I finally took the plunge today. I used the last of the pear blossom fragrance I had. For the liquid - I used 25% water and 75% frozen goat's milk cubes.

I used green chrome oxide for the largest part of the soap and then rose clay and titanium oxide for smaller parts.

Then a touch of pink glitter. 

It's in the refrigerator right now. So far, so good. 

Pretty Violet

Well this is how it turned out. It has a lot of air bubbles and I didn't mix my mica colorant well enough but I do like how the swirl turned out. Plus I got to teach my mom how to make soap - now why didn't I take a photo of her! Darn.
