All that Glitters

I thought I would experiment and use some glitter for the first time. This is skin-safe, cosmetic grade glitter. I used some fine iridescent and a tiny bit of green glitter on this soap which is fragranced with Anjou Pear Blossom fragrance oil. Smells great and I like the added sparkle. This is the same recipe as my White Tea & Ginger soap but I am not going to prevent gel on this batch.

Happy Tuesday

I cut my White Tea & Ginger soap last night.  This batch went in the refrigerator to prevent gel. Looks nice and creamy.

Greetings!

Hello - welcome to my little blog. I've been making cold process soaps for several years and you could say I'm a bit obsessed. I love reading the blogs of soapers and looking at their beautiful creations. There are so many talented soap makers and they are such an inspiration. I thought it was time to share my own adventures in soap making. So here goes.

This weekend I made a White Tea & Ginger soap with shea butter, coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, avocado oil and castor oil. It smells really good. Here is a photo. Hopefully I will be unmolding it tomorrow.
